This is my first photoshoot, what should I know?
This is going to be a lot of fun! Over and over, the reviews say that people are pleasantly surprised at how relaxed they are in front of my camera, even when they are shy or have never enjoyed getting their photos taken before.
What should I wear?
We recommend wearing outfits that reflect your style and personality. Solid colors work well, and layering can add depth to your photos. Avoid busy patterns that may distract from your face.
How many pictures will I receive?
Portrait sessions:
You can typically expect around 70-100 edited images delivered via a private online gallery.
Weddings:
You'll receive about 100 edited photos per hour delivered via a private online gallery.
Where do we take the photos? Are you available outside of St. Paul, Minnesota?
We travel worldwide to photograph events, weddings, and families.
We can shoot at your preferred location, whether it's in your home, a local park, or any special place that holds meaning for you. If you need suggestions, we can provide options based on your style.
How long does a session last?
Most portrait sessions last 45-90 minutes, depending on the type of shoot and how many looks or locations you want to include.
We offer mini-sessions twice a year along with our "Anytime Mini" and those last 20 minutes.
Lifestyle sessions can often take 2 hours because it's more about the story than a staged event.
Weddings and events are a predetermined timeline with flexibility.
How soon do I see my photos?
We try to post on social media within a week of your event or session.
Then, depending on the time of year, you can expect your edited portrait photos within 4-8 weeks after your session.
When it comes to weddings, we get your online gallery up within 8-12 weeks.
